About Us

Since 2003 ESPEX has been importing into the United Kingdom and distributing Motive Power (Traction) batteries sourced from Exide Industries Limited, India. Prior to that, the Schoenmann family, joint promoters of ESPEX, used to import these batteries from Exide-India, as ‘Electrical Spare Parts’ company.

In 2006 Standby Power (Stationary) batteries and Deep-cycle batteries were added to our product range.

Our sales have quadrupled in the past 7 years, until 2010.

We stock over 20,000 cells and batteries at our factory & warehousing site in Cardiff, UK.

We have a committed workforce, who ensures that ESPEX offer the very best in not only product quality, but customer service and after sales care as well.

All sales are handled through our factory in Cardiff, offering a countrywide service of next-day delivery in mainland Britain. We can offer a fitting service by our fully trained Battery Technicians who work to a high standard within Health and Safety requirements.
